Bonsai & Unique Shapes

Return to Pruning

Bonsai plants are sculptured to create special shapes.  They can be used in many locations as well as the traditional Japanese Garden.  Usually they require shearing twice a year by an experienced professional.

Weeping cherry and mulberry trees are excellent choices for a front yard.  They won't overgrow the location and block the house.  Special pruning is required.

Unique shapes, textures, and colors can create an interesting landscape.  Pay attention to selection, location, color, and shape.  Consider what the plant will look like in ten years and prune carefully.
